I found the issue. It is on me: I accidentally blocked USA IP access to the website and guess where is the server.

Nevertheless, it is not very informative to get a “OK everything is fine” when you run my_domain.com/?action=wpfastestcache&type=preload as in fact you got fully empty pages and nothing in the cache directory.

To solve this issue, I have added a timestamp meta field to the products, then added the timestamp in this field from strtotime(metadata date). You have to setup “something” for new products…

Then, use datepicker with number format, not with date format.Filtering works.

There seems to exist a layout bug when using datepicker, I will open a new thread for this bug.

After installing a SEO plugin, and even my robots.txt is and was forbidding the path to those protected categories, googlebot was trying to access them ??

I have modified the SEO plugin and the sitemap, and those 404 accesses have stopped.

When you have more than ten thousands products, and a front-end that is OK, back-end becomes really critical to manage the products

I am a wedding photographer with 500 new “products” (photos) every week, with password protected categories and sub-categories for each wedding…

I am currently using a total of 104 categories, with 10 “main” categories, the other categories begin sub-categories of the main categories. Only of level of sub-categories.

But…. Is the number of categories relevant to this issue?

I know the drop-down category list moves to a search box when you reach some number of categories. This is not the issue. The issue is the search box not working.

Same issue here, and I have been using slimstat for 2 years.

As I found my stats becoming weird, I made some accesses from my smartphone at different times and places and several day (refreshing the pages…), and more than half are not appearing in slimstat.
