In reply to: [WooCommerce] Problems with embeds of product pages in external sitesThat would be great!
The embed styles before WP 4.5 were very good and with small improvements they can become excellent.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Problems with embeds of product pages in external sitesThank you, Caleb!
I am afraid I do not have the skills to modify any code.
With the current state of embedding of WooCommerce products in external sites probably my best move will be to remove those embeds.
Will wait for better times (like before WP 4.5).

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Problems with embeds of product pages in external sitesThank you for your feedback!
Well… this is more or less what I get from embeds as well… And this is not good at all :-(.
Before WP 4.5 all product embeds from WooCommerce were sweet and compact, with a much smaller picture which was an active link and the title, description and price were right aligned around the picture.
Currently in my store all product pictures have width 300px. With current default embeds of 600px in width and 887 in height all my embeds get bad quality of the pictures, as they are stretched to fill the width and height of the iframe.
Who needs such an enourmous embed – 600×887? This is almost half of the size of the screen of a normal laptop! It’s not functional. It’s not pretty.
I wonder if there is a way to fix this and basically to revert it back to the functionality and the outlook of the embeds before WP 4.5…

I saw your screenshot and it is similar to what I achieve with embeds.
How big is your embed aproximately – in width and height?
Is the product picture clickable (an active link)?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Problems with embeds of product pages in external sitesHi, Caleb!
Thank you for your reply!
The product pictures were visible in all embeds before WP 4.5 and I still see them now. But they are not clickable and are enourmous.
In my opinion, this is not a a styling issue. In all blogs where I embed product pages from my WooCommerce store I use only one theme, which is very famous and tested – Metro Pro from Genesis. Some 4-5 months ago I have never
I just switched to a default WordPress theme – Twenty Fifteen and there is no result. The embeds are still very bad.

Here is a link to one of my blogs where you can see how the embeds look like, no matter what WP theme is in use. Take a look at the bottom of the post – https://goo.gl/37Ca9I

In reply to: [Storefront Footer Bar] Widgets appear underneath each otherI am having the same problem.
The widgets display one on the top of the other, not one next to other in columns.

In reply to: [Storefront] Storefront Designer/Customizer Nav No Sticky StickyHi, James!
I deactivated the blank child theme and switched to Storefront. I deactivated all the plugins except WooCommerce and Storefront Designer. I deleted and uploaded again Storefront theme.
All this does not help.
I am running the latest WP 4.5 and latest WooComerce 2.5.5.
However, I think I found out something. The sticky navigation works if the header is in Expanded view. With all other header options (compact, central, inline) the sticky navigation just stopped working. But in expanded view it works as usual.
Regratfully, the expanded view does not fit my needs.
So, probably this information could be of help to you?

In reply to: [Storefront] Storefront Designer/Customizer Nav No Sticky StickyHi, James!
The same issue is here for quite a while. The sticky navigation does not work. It worked perfectly before, but not anymore.
I am using the latest WP 4.5 and a standard Storefront theme with a blank child theme.
I have not made any changes to the core theme.
What could be done in order to recover this option?
Well, I managed to fix the issue by deactivating and activating my current theme.
The first time I deactivated Genesis Metro Pro the embed worked OK with the default theme. After that I activated back Metro Pro and the embed did not work.
I decided that it is some issue with my theme and was about to write to Genesis team about it. I just decided to deactivate and activate again my Metro pro theme and now everything with embeds work well.
So, as a conclusion, the issue seems resolved.
Thank you for your suggestions! Regretfully, it doesn’t work.
Before posting here I tried to embed posts from 2 different sites. One of them is another blog with a Genesis theme, the other is a WooCommerce site with a standard Storefront theme.
In both cases the embeds do not work.
I have placed your URL https://www.jaermuseet.no/garborgsenteret/aktiviteter/offisiell-opning-av-garborgloypa/ and it does not embed in my blog post.
Today I upgraded to the latest version like all of you and had the very same problem – Adrotate just stopped displaying the ads.
I unchecked the box “Check this box if you use W3 Total Caching on your site” in Settings > Misc and everything is wirking well again. I didn’t even stopped W3 Cache, just unckecked that box.
This solution is counterintuitive, though. It works, but I cannot see the logic. I still continue to use W3 Cache.
