I had to de-activate jetpack in order to show features properly. If I have it activated it doesn’t show features correctly. here are more details.
1. fresh install of wordpress 3.8.
2. created 3 posts and created and assigned featured tag to all 3.
3. go to appearance > customize > Featured Content. In the drop down I only see Layout with the drop down for Grid or Slider.
I DO NOT SEE Tag Name field in this area.
4. After I de-activated jetpack plugin and go back to step 3, I finally saw the Tag Name field and the Home Page is now displaying properly.
What is jetpack plugin and why is it activated by default? Do I need it? I’m in a dilemma because if its activated, it breaks the features section on home page. help and thanks!
