There is a major fault in v2.02 of this small plugin.

Edit the plugin and change line 13
wp_deregister_script should be wp_register_script

I am also having this problem. second bug i have found in the past 5 min so may just junk this plugin for another. Also since there is no answer to this after 2 months!!

This seems to be a silly bug. changing the symbol in the setting will not change the front end display as it’s not created by the short code but it’s in the post contant.
so you have to change the symbol manualy where ever you find it.

Work out this problem just to have another

The 404 was happening because my plugin directory name had a space in it. I never meant it to have a space so once I took it out and re-uploaded the plugin I got a page.

But the page i now get had the following error

An Unexpected HTTP Error occurred during the API request. couldn’t connect to host

I get it every time i activate the Self Hosted Plugins plugin.

does this mean you can your custom permalinks with this plugin?
