could you do a screenshot of it in IE6? I have been unable to find anyone who uses IE6 whilst it seems to be fine in IE7.

Right, kinda got it working over at https://theliberation.net , but theres one niggle that whenever I try and solve I get a plethora of lovely PHP errors.

I would like the post thats in the top box area not to appear in “The Weblog” bit (which is basically The Loop).

Any ideas how? Tried an &offset=1 but that didn’t do it.

okay, because it looked tacky before (an unstyles times new roman header…) i’ve put a basic HTML post in its place. but help is needed quite desperately – so, I actually want to put the latest post now on the top segment of the content area.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, I’m likely to be CSS-ing this up a bit and releasing it as a theme (so basically sans images).

Ah, sorry, should have searched first. Just wasn’t really sure what to search for (I would have thought mySql screwed up would be too generic, no?)

Okay, after some moderate success with this theme, I have decided to tackle it once again and bring out a second version.

So, what ‘overhauling’ improvements would you suggest? Feedback is, as ever, welcomed.

Okay, this is quite some time after the original, but I am a relative PHP n00b and am moving from Movable Type to WordPress. However, some external sites are linking to entries within the Movable Type permalink structure, and I can’t quite figure out how to edit the function sanitize_title.

It’s going to take quite some time to move over though as it’s a complex site (https://theliberation.net) even with MT, and I’m still trying to figure out a few bits and pieces. However, the first pressing need is to make the permalinks underscores and not dashes.

Out of curiosity, how should I go about promoting the skin? Are there any sites in particular I should be posting? (i saw a WordPress themes one ages ago but stupidly forgot the URL. dang.)

I have begun to integrate it into wordpress. There’s a lot of work still to be done on it, but everyone has to start somewhere.

None of the sidebar works yet, and there are a few features I am currently testing out.

Can that be done though? Any tips on how I could go about that would be appreciated.

I doubt this is the problem, but you haven’t closed the image tags. That’s the only irregularity I can fnd, anyway (though it should be admitted that it IS one in the morning…*yawn*)

How do you mean? Have you actually followed that step then?
