Thanks, going through it again and it’s all worked well.

Except 2 small things firstly I’ve put the flag in the header and they are picking up the css #branding img which is obviously not what I want so I tried using

#access img {
height: 11px;
width: 16px;
}

But it’s still not working

The other thing is the padding of the menu seems to change between the Spanish and Catalan versions, I really can’t work out why this might be.

Done, but it looks a real mess [insert embarrassed emoji]

The site is very different for https://llumdusui.tombourdon.co.uk/ca/ and https://llumdusui.tombourdon.co.uk/es, it seems for the spanish pages (es) the catalan (ca) test is shown on one page…

SO I’ve found out that it seems to be a css issue. I’ve obviously mucked something up along the way as the flags are displayed underneath the menu bar and are visible when I reduce the opacity of the menu bar (this only happens with the flags, not the text.) Obviously this is not a permanent fix, so if you could help me out that would be great.

Turns out it was the WP-prettyPhoto plugin.

Thanks for your help but I′m still not getting anywhere with fresh uploads or reinstalls.

I really dont know whats going on.

I have, twice.

Then I tried downgrading to 3.4, once the 3.4 files are uploaded and you login it asks you to update the DB which it did. I thought this was the regonnised process for downgrading, it seemed to work as far as the back end goes. Just the front end was displaying the same error as with 3.5

I′m re uploading 3.5, as suggested, and I′ll try again, but not hopeful it will fix it.

So, I′ve done a fresh download of 3.4.2 and uploaded it. Logged into wp-admin, updated the db and I still have the same problem.

Really can′t work this one out. It′s strange because looking at the code that is shown (on https://www.yogaliferetreats.co.uk/) there are several opening html tags missing that seem to be from the admin bar.

At the moment there are no plugins only twenty ten and twenty eleven themes and a fresh copy of 3.4.2, but I get the same error with 3.5

– I′ve just tried Twenty Twelve but get the same thing

– I′ve tried deactivating and even deleting all plugins

– I′ve also tried a manual upgrade, the first was the automated one, when that didn′t work I tried a manual one since then I have also tried downgrading but the gave me another error(Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class WP_Embed in /home/fhlinux198/y/yogaliferetreats.co.uk/user/htdocs/wp-includes/media.php on line 1040)

– https://www.yogaliferetreats.co.uk/wp-admin/upgrade.php just tells me no upgrade is required.

So still no joy
