I too am interested in multiple templates per site. If I understand correctly that’s part of the WordPress MU merge, but I can’t find docs.

@phyllisgrover: because why reinvent the wheel? Why not be able to “can” some pages so people don’t have to recreate them manually? Reduces chances for error.

site:www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins “improved plugin installation”

The problem of course is that it doesn’t work inside the WordPress Install Plugins page. Documenting the process of searching from within that page and installing a plugin, vs. searching the web and installing a plugin from a random website using an FTP program, is an order of magntitude different.

Thanks. I had another agenda, though. I’m writing some documentation on installing plugins using the Dashboard interface, and this one simply doesn’t come up properly. But I’m at least glad to get some confirmation. I thought there was maybe some severe pilot error happening here.
