JZ – yes, fetch as Googlebot is supposed to be a faster way for Google to find new URLs and can also be used if a sites structure has updated a lot. I’ve noticed it usually index new (or updated) URLs within 24 hours.

Hmmm… an interesting one. It looks as though Google is using your old meta title from your author page and using that information to rewrite a number of your title tags – could that have been where “licensed mental health counselor” existed? (https://miamitherapycenter.com/author/admin/).

I guess since most posts link through to your author page, then that is seen as one of the most authoritative pages on your site.

You might want to try and do a full site submit using fetch as googlebot through Google web master tools.

As Joost said, nothing to do with the Yoast plugin.

I would replace the Ad panel at the very top with a larger header image panel to advertise your main areas of advice your website offers. Too many ads look cluttered and unprofessional.

There’s your answer right there – you need better hosting, price is usually reflective of speed\reliability etc and most people won’t stick around to see a site that hardly loads.

I disagree with white text on dark background though. As long as the as the contrast and colours don’t clash – which they don’t – it’s fine for legibility.

I would start by creating some content for your site before trying to promote it. For example, an introduction telling visitors what your site is about.

It looks like you need to change the width of your containing DIVs and your post width to take advantage of higher screen resolutions. 1024×768 still has nearly 20% of the market share though so it’s not bad having a site optimised to this resolution.

I think you have too many ads that block the main content of the site and look messy, from what would be an otherwise clean website. Ads are fine but keep them small and discreet.

Also bear in mind that Google have started penalising sites where Ads vs content ration is too high.

The images in the main image area are not loading, and the ‘amazing offers’ red box at the top is off-putting

Your site looks good, but I’d advise caution with creating landing pages like this where all your doing is changing the location in the URLs and headings and keeping the rest of the copy the same.

Having so little unique content will mean Google will probably see this as duplicate content (have you heard of its Panda updates?) which means these landing pages probably won’t get ranked highly, if at all.

It’s good – clear from clutter and works well full desktop screen (unlike many other fluid designs) and scales well to mobile.

The speed of your site seems fine to me though the photos did take a while to load. If you have moved from one shared hosting account with GoDaddy to another shared hosting then the speed difference isn’t usually much.

I’ve only ever seen good improvements in speed when moving from shared hosting to VPS or Dedicated server.

Nice idea, I like you domain and your theme is well designed.

The about column in the footer area looks a bit of out place IMO.. should it span full width? The ‘submit your guide’ in the top right in the header is hidden by the panel below. Only minor points! ??
