php 5.6.40.. A higher recommended version of php shuts my site down

Thanks Kumaresh. I realized that for me to change my header I must go into appearance>themes> theme details>page down then click header. This is where I am/was able to change my header logo. I hope this helps others

denzel: I also am having trouble changing my header in within the suffusion theme. Your advice ” It’s probably your custom code in your child theme functions.php
Compare them with the functions in parent theme.See if there is any difference and update accordingly” is interesting to me, but I don’t know where to look. Please advise

Thanks, Its exactly the same on each page. I have deleted the verbage on some pages. Does the plug in search for the verbiage, delete it and overlook each page where it has been deleted?

downloaded WP 3.5, today

When adding hyperlinks to blog posts I am unable to find ‘open in new window’ tab as well as not knowing where to place my search word within the hyperlink. please advise. Tom

(1) If you uninstall stat press and reinstall (not deactivate/activate), do you loos historical data?

(2) I have tried all the viable fixes and can’t find a solution

My Problem:

When in my wordpress dashboard everytime I click Statpress, then click Overview, from the drop down menu,I get the following error:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

The goal is to back up the entire site, so if it crashed, I am able to easily download the saved data from the flashdrive and restore my entire website (data plugins, whole shebang)to its original glory

I am not familiar with the additional advantages/additional efforts in having the site functional from the thumbdrive

Could you elaborate please?

yes I use IE (version 8), but it just started happening (didn’t do before)
