I will say I have to agree with the author on this. This plug-in does not calculate taxes, it simply imports the tax rates provided by taxrate.com. It would be an issue with woocommerce if there is an issue. My suggestion, try adding a 5 digit zipcode not using the plug-in and see if that works.
