Hi writingcrafts, I’ve just had a quick look using inspect element in google chrome and to reduce the gap I actually lowered the line height on ul id=”menu-portfolio” and it seemed to have an effect. I gave up on this theme a while ago and used something else but it would still be an interesting one to use if anyone has any other info.

Hi Christine, yes I forgot to mention the databases were changed accordingly. I am familiar with moving WordPress sites – this problem just stumped me. I also forgot to say that both the standard themes and one or two custom themes that I’ve tested DO work, so it seems to be a problem with the balloon theme itself.
