In reply to: UTW and Simple Tags conflict – what to do?I found a solution!
Both the Simple Tags plugin and the UTW plugin uses the in post syntax [tags][/tags]. That’s why I couldn’t modify the simple tags at first because UTW overvrote it.
But by changing the syntax for the Simple Tags syntax into [taggar] (swedish for tags) it worked. I’m now using both plugins and they are working perfectly.
Too bad nobody could, or would, help me with this but hopefully someone will find my solution useful.

In reply to: Creating a plugin / widget but I need some starting helpGood link!
Yes I understand a bit more now.We need to develop a wordpress widget and a wordpress plugin.
Submit the wp-widget to widgetbox to include them.
Then create working verisons of the widget and plugins for other blogging platforms.
I’ll head on to their forums for any support needed there. Thanks!

In reply to: Automatically include a brief list of technorati tags?Ok time to come clean.
The blog is actually a company CEO’s blog and the CEO will simply never bother with these tags manually.
The only way to get the tags in the posts is if it’s done automatically.

In reply to: Submit link plugin?I understand your point. The spam could definately be an issue.
Perhaps it would work better if an admin would have to publish the submitted links, and accept submitted changes to existing links.
I still want the user generated link list. Properly moderated it would be of greater value to users than if I try to keep track of everything that’s relevant myself.
I can see that this would be a fairly complicated plug in so my hopes are not so high of finding something.
Still hopeing though.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: Automatically include a brief list of technorati tags?Sorry, I can’t see how UTW will help me. Maybe I’m just not seeing it.
I’ve installed it and activated it but I can’t get it to do what I want.I need a field where I can enter a few tags that will always automatically be inserted at the end of my posts.
Because I often make the posts from my phone I’m never in the write post page so I can’t embed the tags myself.
I appreciate any help on this.

In reply to: Is my blog secure? You guys are amazing ??
Here’s some more info.
The blog is on a web hotel specifically hired for this purpose.
The blog is in a directory which is also a sub domain.
The URL for this subdomain points to this directory.
This directory is password protected. I did this in the web interface to the web hotel. The interface is called cpanel.
I’m in control of this very long password and it’s a bunch of letters and numbers.
So whenever a user wants to access the intranet/blog they type in the URL. They get prompted with username and password.
Then they can read anything in the blog.
(to write they need to log in to the wp-admin but that’s not relevant here)I’ve recommended the web based RSS-reader Netvibes.com here because it’s very easy to use.
We’re not using username and passwords in the RSS-feeds. I have no idea how to do that. I’m using the default RSS-feeds that came with the theme. One for posts and one for comments.
