Update on the less-important query that I had (button styling) – I’ve managed to work around this by disabling frontend.css.
I then copied the entire contents of that file to a new stylesheet called jigostyle.css and placed it in my theme directory. I enqueued it via functions.php, and then removed the button styling from it.
I’ve then added the JigoShop button classes to my themes stylesheet, (under my themes custom button styles).
I’m still out of ideas when it comes to stopping JigoShop interfering with my drop-down menu’s though, as it’s clearly not a CSS issue.
