Dear @kiwiphil!
Fortunately, refunds are not frequent events, our finance department deals with these cases weekly/fortnightly, and then all legitimate cases are fully returned.

In reply to: [Widgets for Google Reviews] reviews not updatingHello @haydensample ,
You have downloaded your reviews 4 days ago. In the free version of the plugin, you have to wait some days (~7 days more from now) and the download button will be active again. (Instant update without limitation is a paid package feature)
Here is the reason: https://www.trustindex.io/frequently-asked-questions/#where-the-download-new-reviews-button-has-gone

In reply to: [Widgets for Reviews & Recommendations] Disable load css and JSSorry to say that, there is no easy way to use custom slider. Also the possibility of automatic updates is lost anyway with customization ??
But if you still want to: the content of reviews are in the WP database, so you can show them form those tables in custom HTML template and a can operate a custom slider with that.

In reply to: [Widgets for Google Reviews] Updating plugin breaks websiteHello @filparker ,
As I have checked, your site got the details at 2022.06.23 10:26 So , If you navigate to plugin’s admin’s My reviews tab, you should see them. Those reviews should be visible in the widgets, as well.
Dear @racsoux ,
What is your site’s name?
The JS doesnt loaded ??
1. Quick fix: Add this line to your template:
<script defer async src='https://cdn.trustindex.io/loader.js?c9b58a246e616862ff5da11bfe'></script>
2. Try to ask the Flatsome Theme’s support to fix those webhooks: files added with
wp_enqueue_script()
WP function, will not be shown in the webpage.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [WP Tripadvisor Review Widgets] tripadvisor avatars to bigHello @petergus ,
Later versions this year will figure out something for this problem. (It is not so easy, beacuse of updates, GDPR, CDN…. )
Feel free to write to us if you have further thougths and keep your plugin up-to-date.
TrustindexHello @ericschlabach ,
First of all, try to fix the JS errors in your site.
Lets see the problem:
Somehow the Flatsome theme in the footer do not want to load the CSS.
Please append this JS code into your site after the footer widget. It willl load the CSS and the display will be cool:var link = document.createElement( "link" ); link.href = "https://hiddenacrespuppies.com/wp-content/uploads/trustindex-facebook-widget.css"; link.type = "text/css"; link.rel = "stylesheet"; link.media = "screen,print"; document.getElementsByTagName( "head" )[0].appendChild( link );
In the background we will check the issue, to handle it automatically in the next version.

In reply to: [Widgets for Google Reviews] CDN not GDPR CompliantDear @peterharlander and @datenchef and @insich :
We will also consider how to easily resolve this within the EU/country/customer’s server. (Keeping one eye on the speed and customer experience…)
The new software package will arrive this year, which takes the competition authorities and gdpr aspects into account more…Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Widgets for Google Reviews] CDN not GDPR CompliantHello @peterharlander and @insich,
Loading loader.js locally is not recommended, because with this you will miss the automatic update option, which comes in handy for bug fixes, new features, etc…
You can load the assets from your own server with custom CSS. (In this case, you will miss the auto update option, but perhaps this is not such a tragedy, because they very rarely need to change.

But anyway, why don’t you write into your data protection page that you are using third party software?
In this specific case: your site uses Trustindex’s software to display reviews. This entails:
1) In order to provide the fastest possible service and response time, Trustindex uses a CDN network. In such cases, visitor IP address with a timestamp may end up in a temporary log for a few days.
About using these data:
– You don’t use it
– Trustindex only uses aggregated and anonymized data (without IP) for viewing statistics.
2) The profile photo of individual reviewers can also come from a CDN network. In such cases, visitor IP address with a timestamp may end up in a log file. This data is provided/managed by the review portal/service.- This reply was modified 2 years ago by tomwolf. Reason: missed @insich
