No thank you means NO THANK YOU. I was willing to leave a review in my own time. Yet, you kept nagging after dozens of hits to the NO THANK YOU button. I don’t need that clutter while I am trying to work on my site. Having a system where you are so eager for approval is not appealing at all. Being annoyed by this is an instant ONE STAR review.

Oh, for potential US customers, your payment is likely to carry a foreign transaction fee. The developer is absolutely unwilling to disclose this as they feel it distracts from the quality of their product.

    Hi @jlpogonotrophics,

Thank you for using the Neve theme and sharing your review.

In the theme’s code, we save the option selected by the user, and you shouldn’t get asked to review the theme again if you click NO. If you continue receiving it, there might be some issues in your WordPress dashboard about saving the choice in the database.

Does it occur with the Neve theme only? Many products use this functionality similarly, so I wonder if you don’t get the same issue for other products too? I tried to replicate the issue on my end on a test WordPress instance, but it didn’t occur for me.

Thank you for sharing more details.

Hmm, not sure… this seems a little confusing:

“”Hey, it’s great to see you have Neve active for a few days now. How is everything going? If you can spare a few moments to rate it on www.ads-software.com it would help us a lot (and boost my motivation). Cheers!

    ~ Madalin, developer of Neve””

Seriously, stop asking stupid questions and passing blame. It’s your plugin, you can stop this. It is happening on 3 unique pages where this theme is installed. 2 of those 3 are brand new pages with minimal plugins. 1 of them ONLY has your theme and added plugins that come with it (Otter) installed. ALL are having this issue.

    Hi @jlpogonotrophics!

Unfortunately, we tried to replicate this behavior on a few test instances, but every time we close that notice, it doesn’t reappear. We save the user’s option the first time and it shouldn’t reappear in the future. No other users reported this so, as my colleague mentioned, there may be an issue in your WordPress dashboard about saving the choice in the database, but we do not have any control over that aspect. However, we’ll keep an eye out if that notice reappears on our test instances or if any other users report this.

Thanks for understanding and have a nice day!
