I have deleted the a2 version of w3 total cache, and now I have installed the original w3 total cache.

I see my page has made the post change now.

But when I create a new test page, I see that cache is still delaying the post.

I only got the starter plan with my hosting provider. They have the option to get superior caching, but I think I’ll just be holding off for a while.

Okay. I have uninstalled and reinstalled wordpress and elementor. The issue has been fixed.

Backing up files are now a priority for me.

Yes it was very frustrating.

I did manage to get some help. Yet I figured the damage was too much at that point and I uninstalled WordPress and reinstalled.

It fixed the error, but I learnt a valuable lesson here. Backing up files.

At least I know this forum does have good preventative info on issues.
