Same problem here – working on latest 2.8
This error does not appear to have been resolved and I suspect WP Super Cache is used quite frequently too so this does pose a problem.
Otherwise looks like a good plugin!

Hi Dave. Just noticed the plugin does not appear to work with ‘WP Super Cache’ if set to NOT cache users when loggeg in (e.g. if running a forum). I have not found a fix but this did cause me a bit of a headache to troubleshoot. Maybe worth investigating for a future release…
