Ah I see, Kevin, I didn’t realize that would be editable on mailchimp sign us forms since there aren’t any forms on mail chimp self. Much appreciated!

Hi Kevin,
Actually its the plug in ‘Easy Forms for Mailchimp’ generating the sign-up form, mail chimp is only gathering the email addresses into a list. I’ve had trouble before with Mailchimps own scripts dropping people on aol and gmail. Perhaps I should try that way though as there would seem to be more control, I don’t see options in the plug in to control the content of the confirmation email and it gives out my address which is a requirement on the account settings back on mail chimp.

In my case removing
<?php bloginfo(‘name’); ?>

from the header php seems to be the solution.
