Ok I just sent the email. Also I just updated to WF 6.1.5
I was finally able to get my scan to complete this morning by going through and unchecking and rechecking options one at a time. Here is what finally worked.
Scans to include
Scan public facing site for vulnerabilities?(Paid members only)
Scan for the HeartBleed vulnerability? (checked)
Scan for publically accessible configuration, backup, or log files (checked)
Scan core files against repository versions for changes (checked)
Scan theme files against repository versions for changes (checked)
Scan plugin files against repository versions for changes (checked)
Scan for signatures of known malicious files (checked)
Scan file contents for backdoors, trojans and suspicious code (checked) + Add additional signatures
Scan posts for known dangerous URLs and suspicious content (checked)
Scan comments for known dangerous URLs and suspicious content (checked)
<Everything after this point is unchecked>
Scan for out of date plugins, themes and WordPress versions
Scan for admin users created outside of WordPress
Check the strength of passwords
Monitor disk space
Scan for unauthorized DNS changes
Scan files outside your WordPress installation
Scan images and binary files as if they were executable
Enable HIGH SENSITIVITY scanning. May give false positives.I tried the clean install after seeing it on another post didnt work for me. ??
I dont know if this is relevant or not but the scan doesnt stop after I get the scan cant continue message. I have to click kill the current scan. I tried disabling my other plugins one at a time and scanning after each disable to see if there was a conflict but still getting the same error. Also did a purge of the cache.
Here are the results of the memory test
-Starting test–
Current maximum memory configured in php.ini: 268435456
Current memory usage: 24.75M
Setting max memory to 90M.
Starting memory benchmark. Seeing an error after this line is not unusual. Read the error carefully
to determine how much memory your host allows. We have requested 90 megabytes.
Completing test after benchmarking up to 80.25 megabytes.
–Test complete.–Congratulations, your web host allows you to use at least 80.25 megabytes of memory for each PHP process hosting your WordPress site.
Sorry about that. WP 4.5 WF 6.1.4
Ok Matt just posted.
ok it apparently fixed its self but scan still doesn’t finish
I did as you suggested, “Delete Wordfence tables and data on deactivation” near the bottom of the Wordfence options page, then deactivate, remove, and install again.” but as soon as I deactivated it I got this when I tried going to my dash board.
Warning: Unknown: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0Fatal error: Unknown: Failed opening required ‘/home/wp_9c59qu/howu.club/wordfence-waf.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php:/usr/local/php5/lib/pear’) in Unknown on line 0
and now I get this when I got to my site after clearing my browsers cache
