Thank you for your input! I appreciate it immensely. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t going to do something that was an absolute no go.

I’ve not seen the documentation you linked, that’s a big help. Exactly what I need! After I read it I’m going to try to it import the content on the main site and one subsite to see what happens.

Side note:

The main site is 80 pages. Among other things, like broken or unnecessary plug-ins, the many shortcodes some are not working and I don’t know which plug-ins go with them, too many plug-ins plus many install and unistalls…

I have created versions of the subsites in the past that did not delete – with overlapping URLS. Sometimes an old version will come up when I hit the network link. I can see the folders in the files but the sites are not listed in the network admin.

* I’d also like to put a copy on my desktop to work on. I assume it’s the same procedure? Yes or no?

* More: I thought to export each site/subsite content into a fresh WPMS installs. But I am not sure how to duplicate the network with network structure. And it seems like files may not link together properly.

I fixed the replacement page in the menu! I had the slug as wrong.
I still cannot name a page with the same slug as the missing page.

I can’t figure out the missing page but that doesn’t matter now.

I can do a bug report. Didn’t know these were bugs.

To better answer your questions here:

1. Content boxes were created hitting the Return key twice I think, deleted using the Backspace key.

2. Import images: there’s no option to add Media from a URL. Import happens with the plug-in from external media URLs in my post content when I save a draft or post. It auto imports the media and names the files with the associated Post or Page title.

Can’t work if I import media directly to the Media Library, no file name either. And wastes my time and money.

Here’s the plug-in site link: I have the MultiSite version. https://www.qqworld.org/product/qqworld-collector It is in Chinese – I can’t find the English version button for the site.

3. The plug-ins buttons that should be in the Edit GUI are not. They are for building and inserting Shortcodes from different plug-ins.

4. Page Builder plug-in is not in the Edit GUI. Impossible to use a page builder with Gutenberg unless all page builders have changed/updated to work differently.

I use a large amount of plug-ins. The Gutenberg GUI eliminates them from the Edit area.

I will close it myself. I love Feedzy but to continue to use it I’ll have to redesign my web sites. Tough call.

Hi, I search periodically for WP plug-ins to create online activities for adult English learners, I am a volunteer ESL teacher. I would like very much to use this plug-in! It looked so promising, all the features and 20,000 installs! I am relieved to find, and very much appreciate, any efforts to revive this project.

Please consider making an affordable, limited, etc., tier for those of us who are not businesses or for profit? I am a happy volunteer English teacher, no support in any way from anything – my sites, hosting, class materials, etc are my own expenses from a fixed income. My idea of fun!

I support developers and encourage other WP users to support them in almost all reviews I write. I gladly make one-time payments, pay for upgrades I don’t need, and donate to the same plug-ins periodically that I continue to use. I like to pay but I can’t do much. I am grateful for all the work you all do!

This is an exciting prospect, good luck! I will be watching for developments.

I resolved out both issues that I had when trying to embed a YouTube playlist gallery with the plugin wizard. I am documenting them here for you and others.

1). Issue: Embed wizard was blank after entering link to “Get Playlist”
Resolution: Do no use YouTube URLs for mobile – URLs that start with “m.”

2). Issue: Error message under the video on the user side (not admin) “…API does not match referrers…” Long error message.
Resolution: YouTube API settings in Google Dev – do not restrict API

The plugin works fantastically now!

Hi! It is working now. As of today. Not sure why. The Embed Wizard is working but something is wrong with my API key.

So this is solved!
