CORRECTION: Wordfence is intact and was not at issue with the login page.

HIGH SERVER RESOURCE: there was a server resource issue – but Wordfence terminated because of a possible loop. I noted in the scan report that it had gotten caught in my media files. I disabled that option for scans as well as checking for updates to WP, plugins, and themes.

I emailed my Host tech support. Looks like they got rid of Word Fence. I can login and the plugin isn’t there at all. So now I have to check what they did and make sure Word Fence is properly configured in removal.

That is exactly what my host recommended. Upgrade to VPS. My resources are running in the red. However, I’m not upgrading. Sadly, deleting.

We were able to transfer my MultiSite intact. The web hosts took care of it.

I have just changed to hosts with great servers. After some research I may try again.

I’m doing a cPanel Backup Wizard download of the files and database separately.

I just wanted to transfer the main site without the rest of the subsites first. The entire backup is 5GB. The export file is very small, I did it from the main site.

Thank you for the database tables info. I have played a small bit with PHP, but never the database manually. I’ll at least take a look around to begin to get familiar with it.

I’m going to have to rebuild with import/export, not the backup. It’s taking far too long to download the back up. A lot of work, sigh. A lot of plugins, layout, and settings.

We’ve now gotten the backup down to around 5GB. There was a plugin causing the time out issues. Deleted and disabled many things. So the backup might work this time.

I am concerned that I may have compromised the core WordPress framework with all the plugins that I’ve tried and used over time. I thought that I could take advantage of the chance to get a new clean WordPress install to import my files into.

Maybe that doesn’t make sense?

I finally have time to try these! I’m so glad to learn. Thanks again.

My mistake!! Sorry. Every connection I have to Facebook is stuck in Spanish. I let a student use my iPad in class. She signed in to BPress using Facebook. Now I’m stuck in Spanish.

So it’s not a WP issue.

I posted on the Social Invitations plugin support to notify the developer about the conflict resolution suggested. The developer is aware of the conflict. Maybe he will adjust it.
