Just checked the latest trunk… Looks like the solution you described was used in the latest trunk version of wordpress. I wonder why it differs from the solution that is in Trac.

Oh wellz.. Either way works.. I’ll be sticking with mine till the next major release.

@ridjay Just found another idea that might work:

Check your permalink settings. read: Using_Permalinks
Check the two URL values in admin > Settings > General

@ridjay I just checked your page out. the solution that TheDoubtfulRebel posted is for a different situation than the one you are experiencing (The one I wrote about on my blog ( https://www.toppersplace.com/wordpress ) will work for gfyd[kimberly] though).

When I was hunting down my fix, I did see other people having the same problem as you described… and it had something to do with extra blank lines at the end of the wp-config.php file.

Try opening it up in a regular text editor, and if there are any blank lines at the end of the file… delete them. the VERY last character should be the ‘>’ at the last line (Keep it very tight, not even a space after the character.

I can’t guarantee that this will solve your problem either.. I’m not sure if the german version of wordpress is suffering the same problems as the english version when it comes to comment feed

and your wp-config.php would be in the root of your site
