Forum: Localhost Installs
In reply to: Upgrade 3.9 – now admin pages 404I figured it out. Found an allusion to the answer in the apache error logs. The issue was that core files like admin.php, and indeed my test.php file were all writeable by group. Running this command set everything back right:
chmod -R g-w wp
And I’ll never get that hour back.
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: GET /wp-admin/jquery-1.10.2.min.map 404 (Not Found)Be it resolved that:
Installing YAP (yet another plugin) to fix something that will certainly be addressed in the next release of WP (yay Automattic), just slows us down.
I didn’t know about ‘mapping’ until this came up, so thanks for introducing me to the idea.
Removing the line or obfuscating the line makes no difference.
For me, I changed it to:
*\@\ \s\o\u\r\c\e\M\a\p\p\i\n\g\U\R\L\=\j\q\u\e\r\y\-\1\.\1\.\2\.\m\i\n\.\m\a\p
…merely for the poetry.

In reply to: [Top Quark Architecture] Blank Admin page after site migrationHi there,
I believe upgrading to the latest version of Top Quark Architecture should resolve the issue.
Cheers
TrevorHi Phoenix,
Apologies for the delay in responding. Please upgrade the Top Quark architecture to version 2.1.2. I believe I’ve solved the blank screen issue. Please let me know.
All the best
TrevorHi Phoenix,
Can you let me know what version of WordPress you’re on? It might be a version issue.
Thanks

In reply to: pommo installation problemAgreed. When I have time, that’s very high on my priority list. It would be awesome!

TrevorHi @imagedesign,
Hmmmm, the problem persists. WinRAR has worked for other people. I’m curious why it’s not working for you. Would you mind sending me your WinRAR’d plugin to support_at_topquark_dot_com and I’ll see if I can figure it out.
Cheers

In reply to: [poMMo for WordPress] pommo upgrade problemI’ve just uploaded version 1.0.8 of poMMo for WordPress. Can you try upgrading to that and seeing if the issue still exists?
I wish I had more time to work on this plugin, but it’s just not the reality. This Version Mismatch issue just came up for a client of mine so I had to get in and figure out what was happening. Hopefully it fixes your issue too!
Cheers

I wish I had more time to work on this plugin, but it’s just not the reality. A similar issue (the Version Mismatch issue that appears elsewhere on this forum) came up for a client of mine so I had to get in and figure out what was happening. Hopefully (maybe) it fixes your issue too!

In reply to: [Self Hosted Plugins] [Plugin: Self Hosted Plugins] Error during activationCan you do me a favour and edit the file self-hosted-plugins/lib/fakepage.php and remove the header comments from the top of that file and let me know if that fixes the problem?
Thanks
TrevorHi @theadityajain,
Are you on Windows by any chance? See this link. https://topquark.com/forum/self-hosted-plugins/readme-txt-not-recognized/

In reply to: [poMMo for WordPress] pommo upgrade problemHi guys,
I’m glad to see some of the community members coming in on the conversation. I’m very sorry to say that I have almost entirely no time to support poMMo for WordPress at this time and I hope that some community members might be able to look into these issues.
I’m sure you know what it’s like to be swamped. I’m keeping an eye on the forum, and will try and look into these issues when I can. In the meantime, are there any programmers out there who can jump in?

In reply to: [The App Maker] [Plugin: The App Maker] Swipe on iPhone causes errorHi sstasio,
I’ve just uploaded version 1.1.0 and it may have inadvertently fixed your issue. I changed the way I did the splash screen, and the old way might have caused the behaviour you’re seeing. Try it out and let me know.
Cheers

In reply to: [Self Hosted Plugins] [Plugin: Self Hosted Plugins] Error during activationHi Biffly,
You’re getting that when Activating the Self Hosted Plugins plugin, or when trying to activate a plugin you’re hosting with SHP?
Cheers
TrevorGlad I could help.
