I can view the User and Edit the User but when I go to their Profile, I am unable to add fields to it. There are fields I’ve created that are in a Form. When I created them I chose ADMIN and USER for each Field. That is the core of my Problem. I cannot see those fields in their profile.
ThanksAppreciate that. Hopefully I’mm still using UM when and if a solution is found. Thanks
Yes. I get people still saying they tried uploading, but their PDF’s don’t work. Even though I told them, people still try. So I think it’s daft to create another field type for the same purpose. That is also confusing. I would likely then get people saying, “which one shall I use”. As Rabbie Burns the Scottish Poet once said, “there’s nowt as queer as folk”. An update soon would be most helpful please.
Basically yes. I cannot even view their Profile and all their fields, which I thought I could?
THanks
Well lets be clear. I can view the uploaded images where they are uploaded, because each one has a URL. I guess I can then save them elsewhere as I wanted to take them off the link to give the best security option.
However, once I viewed them or downloaded the files, I wanted to update a Checkbox on that users Form entry record, to basically say, I’ve viewed those files.
I set that field up in the Register Form, as I said, it’s a Checkbox. I gave only admin rights to that Field, so that I could enter that users Record and change the Checkbox to a different state. It only has a yes or no option.
So my issue here is that I cannot enter that persons Form Entry and change the state of it. Perhaps there is a better way of doing this, and if so I’d appreciate a heads up. I don’t want the user to see it or edit it. I want the sole right as admin to change it.
Hope that helps
RobertOk Thanks
Trello looks interesting.
Any idea how long this would take though, as it may be better that I go off and use something else. It’s such a simple thing and in my view a classic case of bad design. Who would ever have wanted multiple file types for uploading the same thing, in multiple field types?
