The functions of the plugin are very good and I used it at the time for a website to display an event entry under the past events after it expired. Since it didn’t work with the Gutenberg editor from WordPress and the developer is not ready to share the project, I decided to continue developing the project myself.

I actually program in C # .NET but if you know one language then you understand a little of the other programming languages. After a few long nights and a lot of coffee, I got the event running correctly in the Cron Manager.

I don’t know if everything is 100 percent correct and if all hooks that I have used are needed, but it works and I have added a function that can automatically delete attachments.

I would like to actively help on the project as my time allows and learn in the field of WordPress PHP HTML …

I am also on GitHub (torakaswp) but I have not transferred the current changes there.

Let us write if we are working with several developers to advance the project with a new shine.

I can you understand. All of us have real live and not Always time to answer all Messages in the own Plugin Forum. But all 2-3 month a answer. That’s is Not so many and many people think where is the developer of the Plugin.

What so you think about to add extra developer(s) to this Project?

I write the WP Plugin Team in the next days and try to adopt the Plugin Project.

I have try to contact the author of the project here in this thread but no anwser.

If the adopt Not possible I try to create a new fork of the “Post Expirator”.

I will try as next the integration with ACF if this is installed.

I write here If there are new informations or a new Version in GitHub.
