In reply to: [MailPoet Newsletters (Previous)] Importing emailsThank you for your advice tbondy. At this point I am stuck. Can’t do anything because as soon as I turn on the Mailpoet Plugin, my host shuts me down before the end of the day and tells me there is excess activity while I didn’t send anything. And when I turn the Mailpoet plugin off, the problem stops. So at this point It seems I will have to go another route. I regret this because the first attemps seemed quite interesting. The plugin appeared to be easy and convenient.

My provider is https://www.nuxit.com/
When I deactivate MailPoet I stop getting bared from Mail PHP.
The problem is that the Host says that, because I am on a shared platform, they have no activity log to provide, no details. But they did say the activity is massive. So I don’t know what to think. My website is small and has little activity.
At this point I have little choice because my host charges a fee to re-initiate my mail service everytime they shut it down.
This is the first time I have faced such a strange series of events with wordpress. I am puzzled.

In reply to: [MailPoet Newsletters (Previous)] Importing emailsHello and thank you for the response. I had tried that and it did not work. I have tried to reinstall PHP 5.3. But in the mean time my mail PHP was shut down because my provider says there was much too much sending. Although I told them I sent emails within the limits they impose, they say that the figures are much higher and that my website is probably hacked through Mailpoet. I have deactivated the plugin.
Do you have any advice as to how I can check to see if Mailpoet was hacked ? I had just installed it four days ago. I am puzzled.
