I have the same issue :
If I insert an album (compact or extended) with the shortcode [album id=3 template=extend], it pulls up the list of galleries fine, but when you click one it goes to a 404 error message.

I can insert iderctly a gallery in my page with [nggallery id=4] and the gallery renders properly.

I noticed that bug is present with my theme ( clockstone ) but not with the “twenty eleven” by default theme.

I got a big problem with WP 3.1 + NG 1.7.4 : I can’t create thumbnails anymore : the thickbox opens, the red progressbar goes to 100%, the red progressbar fades out, but the thickboxdoesn’t auto-close, and the thumb image is not added to the “htumb” folder.
I tried to downgrade the jquery version, as robographer sugested, but the issue still remains.

I also get an error when I try to edit the thumbnail : I get the message

I found out that modifying the header.php code to
wp_list_pages('depth=0&title_li=0&sort_column=menu_order');
(where depth=0 agrees to gernerate all the sub levels)
will create the sub menu level in the source code, but the sub levels are not shown, because of CSS rules (I guess)

Have now to look deeply in the CSS code …

I updated the plugin to 1.9.3, and the problem is still there.

I guess the autor didn’t let a so basic bug in this last release. Maybe, the plugin interacts with another plugin ?

I just installed my wordpress blog, and let the kubrick theme on.
I’d like to change the theme, but I didn’t make my choice yet. The only thing I know, is that I want a 1024 wide theme, because I will add a Coppermine photo gallery, and with a 800 wide theme the photos are too “short” …

I’ve done the background images “stretching” in Photoshop, and made them 980 pix wide (instead of 760).
Then I get the “edit css” firefox plugin, and tryed to change CSS settings, but I still get a messy page ??

Yes you’re right. But in my case, it will be used in an intranet, and ALL the visitors will have a 1024 pix wide screen …
