Thank you for the reply and help. I did not receive the new zip file, the email address in my profile was outdated. I have updated the email address so please resend to my email on the account here.

For the new install do i uninstall current instance or install the new zip over the current installation? Also, will I lose the survey I already created?

esmi: That is perfectly acceptable and within the plugin developer’s rights to do so.

esmi: The WPORG plugin repository does not allow trialware. This is a warning for the existing user base.

esmi: Why didn’t you post a topic in the plugin’s support forum to ask the plugin developer to clarify or expand upon the notice?
tperri1962: it’s not up to the consumer to plead for information on a product. This is the basis for free market competition – “1) here are the details of what i’m selling and the benefit you get from it and2) here’s how much it costs.” I read neither from them and the burden is not on me to ask for it.

I have the same problem. Tried using the shortcode above and still does not resolve to the the URL of the page i want to open. The button resolves to “https://mysite/wp-content/plugins/email-before-download/download.php?”, which looks like the default directory for the email before download plugin. I’m sure this is an easy fix.

how do i get this to resolve to the URL in the shortcode above? Everything else works fine.

Perhaps my problem is the user password. I thought this was automatically sent from your application. BUt there’s no p/w in manage users for this user. So perhaps the problem is that i have not manually assigned the user a password and sent it to them. I see the user, but again, was thinking Good Question sent the p/w automatically. There is a setting for auto i believe. Please help me out here and i will give you 5 stars!

i just tried again to use this plugin. activate is set and i can see the registrations in the admin cp, however no email goes out to the user telling them what their password is. please help, i have tried countless plugins for this functionality and none of them work.

hi, thanks for the quick reply. here’s what i’m trying to do on :
1. want to put a page (a software download portal) behind a form.
2. you must register to access this page, but note that it is just one page on the site, not the entire site.
3. after you register, i would like the user when they click on the registration page for it to pass them through to the download page, or bring up a login/pw page that is already filled out.
4. i would like to track all registrations in a database.

and again, i don’t want to make the user register for the site, just this one page. perhaps the fix is to create a new site for the application exchange, but i would rather not have to do that, would rather keep them on my site.

That’s pretty pointless. Anything above 96dpi is wasted on any web site.

Yes, as I said before I am an experienced designer. I just uploaded 300dpi (small dimension) to see what it would do to the image, and it did reduce and blur it.

It might be worth checking with your hosts that your server is running the latest version of this module.
