In reply to: [Neve] Missing vertical alignment option in footer builderHi Irinel, yes it persists in incognito mode and in Firefox as well as Safari. As per above, I’m using Neve (free) 3.7.5. By ‘console errors’, do you mean errors on the WordPress dashboard? I don’t see any there.
Please advise,thanks,

In reply to: [Neve] Logo stretched and menu icon not showing in mobileHi Stefan,
I took a risk and installed that troubleshooting plugin you suggested, and disabled plugins one by one. That fixed the issue, and it stayed fixed even when I re-enabled them, so I have no idea what was causing it – thank-you for the plugin suggestion!
I did also add a ‘Donate’ button to the header, on both desktop and mobile layouts, but it doesn’t display on the mobile home page, for some reason? It does display on all other pages. Is that a related issue?
(Karl, thanks again for your time – I did try adding that code, and it didn’t work, but appreciate the suggestion!)

In reply to: [Neve] Logo stretched and menu icon not showing in mobileHi Stefan, thanks for your response. However, I don’t think the font awesome files not loading are related – I use the Google font Montserrat for the menu, and the logo is an image file?
Moreover, the website is in fact loading properly on multiple browsers – eg on my 13″ MBP, it still displays as normal on Safari and Firefox.
It also shows correctly on Brave on my client’s larger laptop, but the errored display (stretched logo, expanded menu) is showing for him on Safari on that laptop.
The errored display is showing for both of us on our mobile phones (Safari, Firefox, Brave). So at least part of the problem is that it the logo is not resizing across various devices/screen sizes as it used to; did you see Karl (KS)’s comment above about him experiencing the same problem since the last Neve update? (Karl, I tried that code you suggested but it didn’t fix the stretched logo, nor the menu display issue, thanks anyway.)
I’m worried about losing customisations by starting to tinker around with de-activating plugins, if there’s been a recent change to the Neve theme that explains the issue?
Thanks,
Tracy

In reply to: [Neve] Logo stretched and menu icon not showing in mobileThanks for the reply, Karl! I’m just using the Customizer for this client site and don’t want to have to create a child theme, so hopefully your reply will help the developer see what’s happening. It only broke after their recent Customizer changes and hasn’t been fixed by rolling back to the old method. Thanks again!

In reply to: [Neve] Neve Options Problem – not saving settings@lepik, I was having the exact same problem and found your fix – thanks very much! Neve, there seems to be a common issue here with Neve option on-page changes not being committed, when logged in as admin… (I saved a change, clicked update, clicked ‘View page’ after update, no change – edit again, change undone. Updated and viewed again, logged out as admin, logged in as different user, page was locked for editing. Chose ‘take over’ and made change, saved first time.)

In reply to: [Astra] Mobile layout issueHi there, I found some options for tweaking it – can’t delete, but closing!
Ah brilliant, thanks John – didn’t need the CSS, just removed the Section! I should’ve figured that out myself; thanks for your time. Will submit a review now!

Hi John, thanks for the quick reply, and sorry for my rushed message – the link should’ve been https://miamishowbandpeacecentre.org/gallery!

In reply to: [Virtue] Optimal image sizes – in documentation?Ah great, that’s simple then! ?? Thanks very much!

In reply to: [Virtue] Optimal image sizes – in documentation?Hi Kevin, thanks for that. I’m more looking for the actual optimal width (and height if needed) for various types of images – e.g. page header image widths, and portfolio featured image widths. The high-quality images I have are all well above 1600 originally so I can resize them to any size, and would like to go for the smallest that will work for each place I need to use them, for best site speed. (I’m using ImageOptim to strip metadata and WP Smush too, so it’s the initial sizing I’m curious about.)
For full-width images, if 1600 is the minimum recommended width that’s grand, I’ll can use that.
? How about the portfolio images in “beside” layout? I think I’ll use that layout purely to be able to use smaller images.
? How about header images used when the sidebar’s enabled? I’ve a sidebar only for the blog posts on this site, and there are many posts with images, so I’d like to use smaller than full-page-width if possible.Thank-you!

In reply to: [Virtue] /portfolio/ Not Found errorHi there, yes that’s what I did after my last post – I still need, tho’, to be able to link it to that grid icon? It defaults to /portfolio/ when I now need it to go to /portfolio/name-of-newly-created-portfolio-grid-page. How do I do that, please?
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Virtue] /portfolio/ Not Found error…Actually, I guess showing more than one category is probably the ‘filter’ option available to premium users, you can ignore that question!
But how do I change the link on the grid icon from /portfolio/ to /portfolio/name-of-newly-created-portfolio-grid-page? Thanks!

In reply to: [Virtue] /portfolio/ Not Found errorPS Or better yet, can I display more than one portfolio grid on a single page? there are only 2 portfolio types with a small number of items, so it would be better to have them on the same page with headers separating them. Would that be shortcode approach?
