In reply to: [Ascend] Removing overlay from image menu itemsUpdate:
– I also emptied all caches with W3 Total Cache and am still seeing the teal frame on that one image, on Safari on my MacBook.
– Even before clearing caches, however, the image was showing correctly with a white frame on Safari on my iPhone.
– Bizarrely, if I click on Develop/Show Page Source in Safari, and then click on that image, then move the mouse back over the develop pane, the frame changes colour to white. But when I refresh the page, it’s teal again? :/- This reply was modified 7 years, 8 months ago by Tracy.

In reply to: [Ascend] Removing overlay from image menu itemsIt’s in Safari – and sorry, I should’ve cleared caches/checked another browser before posting! It’s fine in Firefox, but I’ve cleared caches via Develop/Empty Caches in Safari but am still seeing it. Do I need to clear within WordPress itself?

In reply to: [Ascend] Removing overlay from image menu itemsActually Hannah, I used that and got my screen shots, then removed it – but now I’m noticing one of the frames (‘Career Coaching’) is the same colour as the background colour, whereas the rest of them are white. Could you take a wee look for me please? https://tracydempsey.co, and here’s a screenshot.
Thank-you!

In reply to: [Ascend] Can dropdowns be set to “fit” width of content?Hi Kevin!
1. Here are the screen shots: https://imgur.com/a/q6NQn
You can see the first one’s spot on, the second and fourth have dead space (being one-word items) and the third is wrapping. I’d like each dropdown to fit to the widest menu item it contains, if such a thing is possible!
2. That works a treat, thanks! At 900 it made the longest item (‘Executive coaching’) wrap onto a new line, but I dropped it to 700 and that fits.
Thanks as always!

In reply to: [Ascend] Can dropdowns be set to “fit” width of content?PS I’ve 4 dropdowns now – the ‘articles’ menu item shows the too-long/wrapping sub-items; the ‘media’ and ‘more’ menu show have the too-short/dead space sub-items.

In reply to: [Strong Testimonials] Rounded photos and names-as-linksThat worked perfectly, thank-you!

In reply to: [Strong Testimonials] Rounded photos and names-as-linksHa! Thank-you… ?? So combining the two you gave me, my CSS for rounded images with no padding is:
.strong-view .testimonial-image img { border-radius: 80%; border: 0; padding: 0; }
…unfortunately I can still see the padding/faint grey border, but I don’t want to take up more of your time on this, so will see if I can find something online. Cheers again for your help!

In reply to: [Strong Testimonials] Rounded photos and names-as-linksHi Chris, sorry for the delayed response – am getting tangled up in code here! I don’t know what I did that caused that one-sided flattening, but somehow I undid it (maybe there was an accidental cache clear with something else I did in the main theme CSS). In any case I’m not seeing the flattening any more so will assume it was a bizarre glitch I caused temporarily! Thanks for checking it for me.
Can I, tho’, remove the padding from around the images? I can see a grey circular border/white padding around each, which I’d like to remove.
Thanks again!
Tracy
