Ok.. so the correct working answer was actually #4. they reset my memory to 64M

I figured b4 I contacted host for assistance, I’d come here. I assume I probably screwed something up or wasn’t doing something correctly with step 2 or 3. Even as likely as the prior suggestion is that something has changed since the original post 4 years ago.
