Hi JS – sorry for this late reply. Been away from my PC.

I’ve been trying to enable rich pins using the validator provided by Pinterest.

This is the example post I put into the validator

Strange thing is Pinterest says its fine but my pins have not changed into rich pins.

If I scroll down everything is green except ‘authors’which has a red dot.

Also AMP valid = false (no idea what that means)

I have tried this with Yoast metadata and your plugin.

Would really appreciate any thoughts on this if you have time.

I’m having exactly the same problem. I have put my Facebook profile url into the Yoast plugin social section. Still having the author problem when trying to validate for rich pins.

There is a ‘discussions’ option in screen options which is checked. But I cannot see a metabox on the edit screen. What should it look like? Where should it be?

Strange thing is… I have a second post which I set up in exactly the same way and it does have a comments section.

This appears to be specific to this post. This post also has a weird little author and date attribution in the top left corner in plain text that I mentioned in another support post. You can see that here https://eguidestream.com/website-traffic/

Me too – same problem, but I’m using All in One SEO. So who knows what the problem is.

Thanks Marios – do you have any idea why my robots.txt is blocking Googles bots from seeing my urls. The only thing I’ve done is specify the non www prefix for my urls to Google.

I deleted the 2 directories in Cpanel.

I then went to ‘upload’, select file, selected one of the directories from my WP download, clicked it and it opened to show large number of individual files.

No obvious way to select and move the entire directory.

Sorry to be so dumb.
