I also want to show questions by category. On my [list_questions] page there is a drop down category menu. When I click a category in that drop down I get sent to a page which does not exist. Do You have any idea how to fix that?

Am I correct in saying that your solution will produce separate individual pages for each category? I want to be able to call up question lists for each category from the same page from the drop down menu.

Thx Doug, I really appreciate your efforts. While you were looking at Q and A forum did you happen to see where the short form code is? They use a short form [list_questions] which drops a WP category menu in there which I don’t want.

Trouble is with Q and A Forum which I think is quite a nice plugin is that the author no longer supports it.

Where would I find that menu item, within the site itself or in the dashboard?

I would imagine, depending on the theme you are using, that under “settings” or possibly “new post” you will be asked whether you want right column, full width, or 3 columns in your post. You should also be able to set that globally somewhere in your Dashboard.

Thanks for your reply. What I am using is a WP plugin called Question and Answer Forum (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/question-and-answer-forum/)in conjunction with Swipp Version 1.2

This plugin allows users to post questions using the WP “post” function using a form template which invites the user to Post a Question. Other users can attempt to answer the question using the Post a Comment function.

When a question is posted using the Q and A forum form a Swipp can be added by admin because admin can access the The edit function and use the Add Swipp button. The user cannot access the edit function. I would like the user to be able to add a Swipp themselves which I would imagine involves embedding an Add Swipp button in the Q and A Forum plugins Post form.

Likewise in the Comment section which is just a standard WP function.

What would also be great for me, and I know I am asking too much, would be an “autopilot” Add Swipp which just adds a Swipp without having to select the type or add a title. User just love simplicity.
