After giving this a rest for a week, I came back to it again today to find that it is working as I described it. Don’t know if you changed anything or perhaps the possible offending plugin was changed but somehow all is OK with the plugin at this point.

Time may be better spent addressing the concerns on this support page that have been neglected.

I have tried several things in order to try the simple task of having a new role only be allowed to edit a single page. Documentation does not seem to help. No examples.
Does anybody know how to do this or if it is even possible with this plugin?

James Koster, have you heard of this issue with Storefront? Would you mind looking at the code under one of the Categories I mentioned and perhaps find out why the products are not being shown?

I have disabled all plugins and the issue remains. However, when I switched from Storefront to another theme, my products DO APPEAR as they are suppose to. So it is apparent that the issue is with Storefront. I am not sure what is clashing with the code. I tried looking at a category such as “Coverlets” that do show products vs “Bolsters” that do NOT show any products but should. Using code inspector, I just cannot decipher what is keeping the products from showing up. I am hoping that some of you WP coders might be able to see what the problem is.
For some reason, the latest version of Storefront is keeping some, not all, of my products from showing up under certain categories. I cannot find any pattern to the categories that show no products. Can someone please help? For an example of where there are not any products where there should be some, look under HEIRLOOM TEXTILES, then BOLSTERS. Website is https://www.goodolddayscountryshop.com

Yes, I knew about this metabox if I go into each products info page. But that means I need to go look thru all my products to find who is waiting for what. Not a viable solution. What we need is a summary or a report that summarizes all of the items that people are waiting for. Doesn’t seem like it is too difficult to implement and this solution would be invaluable to all of us. looking forward to seeing this implemented in the next release.

Excellent, by unchecking this, all the items I entered into the loop now appear on my products page. Thank-you for this bit of genius. But, I need to ask… That option that I unchecked – It seems to me that this would now SHOW all out of stock items. Why doesn’t it do that? If it did that, I wouldn’t need your snippet right? So what am I missing here?

I copied your code snippet and put it into my functions.php file. I replaced the product ID with one of mine that is currently out of stock. I then saved the file. Went to my website and selected the category where the product is suppose to show up. Not there. Refreshed page several times. Even tried on Incogneto browser. Just not working.
Website is https://www.goodolddayscountryshop.com. The product ID I entered was 25156 which is for the “Paint a Bowl” workshop. It should show up under WORKSHOPS category. Any thoughts?

Thanks Mina. Questions: Which file does this snippet go into? Also, if I want multiple products to be displayed, do I just seperate the product ID’s with commas? Can you give an example?

No, I just want to display certain products, even though they are out of inventory. Dont necessarily want to sell any more of these, but being able to display certain items within the same category allows people who bought these items to enter a REVIEW, see important information about it, etc…

Your right, Thank-you. I de-selected that option in Jetpack and the problem went away. Thank-you

Apparently it is a Bloom issue. They have a patch for me and the fix will be in the next release. So, all other woocommerce users who also have Bloom, do not fear, it is being resolved.

Not sure if it ever worked with Woocommerce. So, waiting to hear from any users out here to see if they have it implemented.

OMG, your right. I haven’t done anything with the cache clearing so now I don’t know what I did to clear this up. Anyways, my style mods and the way I did them appear to be good. Thanks for looking!
