In reply to: [Favicon by RealFaviconGenerator] Server ErrorSounds good. Thanks for the reply. This doesn’t make my website vulnerable to hackers, does it? I’ve noticed a couple bots who’ve picked up on those 404s.

In reply to: [Favicon by RealFaviconGenerator] Server ErrorMy website: https://981kze.com
Recently another plugin “Redirection” kind of freaked out on me and I had to change my web address to https from http, but I didn’t go through the process of creating a certificate. If I change it back that plugin doesn’t work. Haven’t had time to investigate that further. It was really nice to not have all those 404 errors for awhile. I realize that the real problem may with that plugin and not with Favicon… or something else completely!!!!
Here are some of the favicon 404 errors I’m seeing. Looks like it’s only Apple being affected:

Hi,
I’m returning to this line of inquiry as I have since realized that my BD pages don’t contain any widgets, and I think you’re onto something with the sidebar. I’ve checked that my Directory page is “full-width, no sidebar”, and it is. But already on the categories page the side bar is there.https://981kze.com/business-category/music-arts-venues-festivals/
I do need that sidebar on all other pages on the website, but it’s not fomatting correctly with BD. Any suggestions on how to edit the page layout within BD? I can read/edit (but not write original) html code so feel free to offer that as a solution. Thank you so much!
What I think is happening is the “image rotator widget” which displays rotating ads on almost every other page on our website, is somehow on these pages, too, but it’s invisible and messing up the other formatting. Maybe I should move my question over to that widget forum?
If I knew how to post a screenshot I’d show that in my view, and I’ve checked on different PCs and browsers, the text on the right is cut off. As if the text box is hidden behind some other invisible object. It only happens in full screen. If I shrink the screen a little I can see all the text. It’s as if resizing the screen changes the format of the page and moves that invisible object out of the way.
To be honest I’m not sure I’m reading the logs correctly. What it looks like to me is that the same IP address continues to access pages after they have been blocked by both WordFence and myself. Not sure how to share a screen shot on this forum. I’ve copied the most recent example. I’ve seen this particular IP address keep popping up again and again. Below you can see that I blocked them (again!) 20 minutes ago, while the log indicates they accessed the page 17 minutes ago. Am I reading this incorrectly?

Location: Brussels, BelgiumThank you! That’s brilliant! Whack a mole is exactly what it feels like! It’s only been this one address as far as I can tell, but I was concerned that this one bot is able to keep coming back even though the IP address is blocked. I’m guessing he’s got some fancy software workaround that, thankfully, not everyone has.
