Thanks for the response, however, we’ve decided to not use (v3). Unfortunately, we don’t like how the (v3) icon is big and overlaps parts of the mobile website version. Not a good user experience. We hope that you make it invisible in the future while still combating spam bots. Thank you.

I temporarily disabled the key and reCAPTCHA v2. Just in case someone thinks nothing is wrong with the page.

Contact Form 7 plugin Version 5.1.1

My client really felt discouraged using v3 so I went back to v2. Keep in mind that when I used v2 ‘invisible’ it was NOT invisible and I had to go through 7 verification steps to select images that includes street lights. Yes, 7 times. Not good at all.

I reverted to v2 ‘using a checkbox’ however, I do not see the checkbox anywhere on the contact page.

All I can do at this time is wait to see if my client is receiving any new spam emails to her gmail over the next few days. This is certainly not a good way to make an upgrade to Contact Form 7. I did install Akismet as well hoping this will help combat spam.
