Oh yes, it works.
But you have to network activate the plugin and set the auth token once again. Two easy steps, but if don’t know about it, you’ll miss some days in you tracking.
Hi Michael,
I was on the road for some days and responded without upgrading the plugin. I’m now on 1.7.2 and the wording is fine.
But in my first tests, the licenses were resolved the wrong way.
On flickr, the images were attributed by, https://www.flickr.com/services/api/explore/flickr.photos.getInfo responded license=”4″ and after importing it is resolved to by-nc-ndBest,
KaiHi Michael,
great news, thanks for the update.I guess you are asking for some further ideas to add. And I got one ??
For my own use, I am just importing my own photos and have no problems with copyright. For a general use, there’s a specific way to use images under creative commons license.
I had a look and you get both the license name and the link to it via the API.I think you would do a favor to the CC-Community by changing the description to
$picture was published on flickr by $user under $license
with $license as a link to the CC-Text. Many bloggers are to lazy to get those links right.Hope you had nice holidays, best
KaiHi Michael,

Great work, thanks a lot.Best,

p.s. note to myself: a german wordplay in the username doesn’t make any sense on an english site.
For my personal use, the output would be a simple text :

or, the perfect solution:

For a more general use, an option field for a template text would make sense. And I guess the SEO crowd loves a rel=canonical added to the link ??

In reply to: extend functions.php for child themessry, I was referring to the codium-extend theme.
Just posted in the theme-related overview and didn’t realize, this was going to the main forum without context
