That worked. Apparently the Pricerr theme and All In One WP Security don’t play nice together. I have no idea how to resolve this. I have to use the Pricerr theme but I can’t lock users out if they can’t get their unlock emails. For now it looks like I will not be able to use the lockout feature in All In One WP Security.
Thanks for your help.
I just tried a DB backup. It should have sent it to the email address I provided in the “DB Backup” tab. That also has not arrived. Perhaps the Pricerr theme is at fault. I will disable the Pricerr theme and see if it makes a difference.
@postman SMTP
When I tested my email server to be sure it was working I sent a test email from @webriders.net to @20dollargig using windows live mail. It has nothing to do with the website. Just a test to be sure that @20dollargig was working ok.I don’t know how All In One WP Security sends email. That is the one I didn’t receive. After locking myself out of the site it gave me an option to receive unlock instructions. It asked me for my email address. After supplying the email address it said it sent me instructions to the email address I entered. That is the one that never arrived.
I am sending email from windows live mail but both emails (@webriders and @20dollargig) are hosted on secureserver.net
Sending from @webriders.net to @20dollargig.
I am in the process of setting up another site. When I am finished I will test it again.
I just checked the server again, still not there.
Still no email. It is not a generic email. It is an @20dollargig.com email. My site domain. https://www.20dollargig.com
My emails are hosted on Godaddy email servers.Yes, I did enable the lockdown feature.
I left the lockout time to 60 minutes (default)In further testing I have installed this plugin on a site with the latest version of the Pricerr theme and that has resolved the problem. Pricerr v3.0.1
Upon further investigation I realize it may be a Pricerr Theme issue. If I activate the “Twenty Fifteen” theme the buttons work. The problem is, I need to use the Pricerr theme. Do we think this is a problem that can be fixed in the All In One WP Security plugin or will it have to be resolved with the writers of the Pricerr theme?
I see I am have the same problem with other buttons too: “Select Your Import Settings File” and “Select Your wp-config File” etc.
Turns out I am having the same login problems with Pricerr Theme 3.0.1
Disabling the firewall doesn’t help. Tried that.
Pricerr themes newest update doesn’t seem to be plagued with this login issue but due to other issues I am unable to use it until they fix their other problems with version 3.0.1
I have the same problem using Pricerr Theme.
My concern about such a fix is this: That allows you to login as admin but what about the registered users on your site? Can they login? They have no way to deactivate Wordfence.
If they can login, why them and not the admin?
