OK, my misunderstanding. I was expecting custom fields to appear next to other sections in post settings sidebar, not _below_ post content.
So, the 2023 update is that your plugin is still no longer needed, as WordPress still supports displaying custom fields.

In reply to: [Table of Contents Plus] Stop working after update to 2302Double check, if Settings → Advanced → Heading levels matches your actual heading set in your blog.
I had an issue where I had checked that ToC must be build based on H1 and H2 only while that particular blog was using H3 and H4 only.

In reply to: Comments list’s link should point to an actual articleYou are most welcome and very, very helpful. Thank you so much! I will definitely make use of all the knowledge you have shared with me! Thank you again!
I’ll mark this as resolved as there’s seems to not be much to discuss here. I need to follow to trac. Thank you once more!

In reply to: Comments list’s link should point to an actual articleThank you! Yes, this is exactly this one.
Is there any way to determine when this will be added to core or if it is going added at all?
This is how this should (in my opinion) work. Main link / post title pointing to an actual post and…

(sorry for adding images to imgur, but I have no idea how to upload them here)
I am familiar with WordPress coding, but I don’t want to do this change (even in child themes), because I’d have to repeat it for all my 18 active themes. But, thanks for bringing this idea up.
I’d rather want to know, if posting here is the right path to rise a feature request to www.ads-software.com team? Thank you.

In reply to: Comments list’s link should point to an actual articleHi @vladytimy
I see it every time I have some comments to approve. I get that link from every emails that pops to my mailbox to say:
> [example.com] Please moderate: “Here goes post title”
After I click “Approve it” or “Please visit the moderation panel” links. So something like this URL:
example.com/wp-admin/comment.php?action=approve&c=801#wpbody-content
I cannot give you any screen shot, because neither of my blogs has any comments to be approved one. If I manage to capture some, I surely post it.
But, anyway, this is the view where you can see a large-font printed post title and all comments given to that particular article listed bellow.

In reply to: [WordPress Importer] How to get rid of WordPress Importer?True and thank you for bringing this solution.
Though I was hoping that there is less brute-force way of achieving this.
Thanks, marking as resolved.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Gutenberg completely gone for second of two super user?As you can see in question, a lot of things were checked and a lot of debugging was performed, but the most elemental thing was not checked.
The user in question had simply visual editor disabled in user configuration. After enabling this issue become solved.
This is dumb and underlines my ignorance. The only explanation I have is that this particular user was created eight years ago and so was its options set.
I decided to keep this question open, so it can benefit others that may run into similar troubles in the future.

In reply to: [Manage XML-RPC] Seems that it is not working at allHi @bsoftde,
thanks for your advise and bringing this up. Surely, seems that this plugin is dead.
I was not looking for an replacement, as I don’t need such solution. I was rather verifying why three of my blogs are not responding to external calls (like connecting Jetpack, accessing them from WordPress.com or doing site verification with Google Search or Microsoft Bing).
I was suspecting blocked XML-RPC calls and started testing this plugin only to find out (by an accident) that it seems to be not working at all.

In reply to: A lot of images reported as being unattachedThanks for trying to help. To summarise this topic:
a) never do two step media upload (via Media library), always attach image directly to post,
b) the only way to cleanup unattached images is to simply delete them and upload them again, to corresponding posts, directly from post editing screen.
For blogs and sites in blog network that has 20-30 unattached images this maybe considerable, if someone needs this. For hundreds of unattached images this seems to be pointless and worthless. Thank you.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Unable to set category or save draft in one of my blogsThanks for trying to help, but I fear that this will not bring me anywhere closer to the solution and that this problem may not be solvable.
Both plugins and / or network / CDN configuration will always affect entire blog network AFAIK, not just single site inside that network. So, you proposal seems like a false shot.
By posting this question, I was more like trying to figure out, if there is anything inside WordPress that is both related to AJAX / request processing and in the same time may affect only one site inside blog network.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] How to paste large block of text to GutenbergHello and thank you for your support.
I managed to figure out what is wrong. It is nothing wrong with my WordPress, plugins or Gutenberg. There’s a problem with me! ??
I wasn’t aware that paragraphs must be separated with two lines (i.e. one empty line) in order to have them pasted as separate blocks of text. When there’s no separation (no empty line), Gutenberg pastes it as single block of text.
And should be doing this. Because this makes pasting lists a lot of easier.

I am marking this as resolved. Thank you.

In reply to: A lot of images reported as being unattachedOf course, you can always attach an unattached image after the fact, but it has to be a manual process.
And the purpose of this whole tread was to ask, how can I do this?
Is there a relatively easy way of correcting such unattached images? By manually attaching them back? If yes, then can you elaborate it? Thank you in advance.
By “relatively easy” I mean — using standard WordPress administration panel or some plugins, if needed. If above requires manual database editing or changing WordPress source code then such solution is out of the question as for me.
