Hi Susan. I hope you don’t think I’m being ungrateful but I noticed a few things with the two panel template. The first is that it appears the two panel template removes the comments from a post. The second is, it looks like the header dates have been removed from the posts with the update.

Also I was wondering if there could be a way to switch on the two panel template site-wide instead of post by post.

Nope, jusy regular Twenty Seventeen. I’d like it between the date of the post and the edit link on bith the index page and the individual posts.

On another blog I have I deleted the cache on WP Super Cache before the update and had no problem this time.

I deleted that snippet of code you mentioned and still getting the error however that may be because of the caching plugin my host forces me to use. I’ll try to check back later. So far no reader has complained.

It works fine in Ubuntu with Chrome so hopefully it’s just my Win 7 install.
