But there is a second problem with this update, that seems related to this one: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/3-2-2-to-3-3-0-update-breaks-mine-filter-in-admin/#post-10298734, and this one isn’t solved by this fix.

What do you mean by “set main storage to files”? Should I (we) tick “file-system” in the Settings page (and then, “current theme folder” or “global”?).
If I understand well, I should store config in files, then update, then re-create all fields with exactly the same names, and finally put the config back to the database?
