Are you now using the official AWS SDK? If not, you will continue to have problems.

Time to use a script to backup instead of this. I realize this is free software, but our refusal to fix this is disturbing.

The problem is that this plugin doesn’t use the AWS SDK. It also breaks other plugins.

I have the same error. It’s your plugin. This works fine with other plugins.

I know it’s open source, so I won’t complain much. Just on to the next plugin, and no, the link is useless.

Here is why it breaks:

backwpup plugin overrides the sdk for AWS CDN plugin and causes this issue.

Needs to be fixed by the developers of backwpup.

You can close it, but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s broken with any other plugin that uses S3.

It works fine with backwpup disabled.

Umm, no I’m not providing my credentials on a public site. I removed the plugin since it doesn’t work. I was just being nice and telling you.

Ok, it is a UI issue. The real way to do it is:

Replace featured images by the selected image.
Don’t overwrite
You will have to click on the checkboxes with no images (confusing because there is no feedback)
Then you will see the ones that are going to be replaced.

That is what I did, it disregards all without featured images. This is a dev site, so I can experiment.

Here is what this looks like.

So either your instructions are misleading or the plugin won’t add images to posts without a featured image already, which is what I expected it to do.
