I don’t want to remove it from my list. It is, as far as we know, a valid email address.
We are using your sending service and I understand that you share the list of common bounces. I was wondering if this address got on that list. I set it back to “Subscribed” and after the next mailing it is “Bounced” again.In one forum response MailPoet I read that we could mail you the address in question and you can check if it can be removed.

TrevorSupport at our web host added the absolute path to invoke php and I think it’s working now.

Strange, because in CPanel’s terminal environment I can invoke ph with your script or -v to confirm the version. etc.

I verified that the advanced settings show “Visitors to your web site.”
As proof, I also ran the php script from the command line and it reported that MailPoet is not configured to run with Linux Cron.Here is a section of the Access Log from today, still with the “Visitors” setting. It’s every 20 S, even when there are visitors.

With the setting changed to “Server Side cron” I can run the php script from the command line with no errors. I have access to the logs via CPanel.
However, a test email doesn’t go out until I manually run the command from the command line.Cron is set up for every minute and the path is the full path.
So I will reach out to the provider. My apologies – as it may simply be that cron isn’t running.P.S. The documentation you referred me to still lists three options. Visitors, MailPoet’s script or cron.

I tried the crontab job that MailPoet generated.php /home/georgianyacht/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mailpoet/mailpoet-cron.php /home/georgianyacht/public_html/
And no emails got sent.
I looked on github 3.89.0 and it suggests that MailPoet’s own task scheduler was replaced. But the generated cron job still has mailpoet-cron.
Could it be that the generated command line is out of date?
Also, with the “Visitors to web site” setting I was still seeing cron in the server access logs at almost exactly every 20 seconds.- This reply was modified 2 years, 5 months ago by trevorstokes.

I can probably delete the account currently associated with webmaster.
The one connected to my personal address is the correct one. I recently added approved senders and they work.I don’t remember creating the other account, but it must have been me!
We don’t have a premium subscription. I only see a floating search icon.
The member’s email account must have recovered from what ever caused the bounces. Is there any other way to reset them to “subscribed?”Forum: Fixing WordPress

I deactivated every plugin and then the theme.
After the theme was changed I noticed the red bar and error messageError: The email address isn’t correct.
or
Error: Please enter an email address.
But, after I reactivated everything (I kept careful notes to make sure I had all of the same active plugins) it still worked.
Now I’m wondering if I (and our Membership Director) missed the error message all along, or if simply re-activating a plug in did something.

I found a plugin “Admin Menu Editor” that at least lets you change the names as they appear to logged in Editors.
I keep Mail Poet 2 around for the archives and made sure that the name makes it clear that it’s not to be used.

Since it only applies to me and our membership director (WP roles == admin) it’s something I can document, to tell them to login with wp-login.A follow-up question: Can I format the text (Settings/dialogs) to have line breaks or paragraphs?

So installing your plugin doesn’t destroy any of my data.
The better soln. is for me to rename my fields to match yours. That way, I won’t have a problem each time I get updated code from you.Forum: Plugins

Some of my fields are exactly the same as yours – some are very similar but different.Sorry.
The user record had no email address (A separate utility can delete email address under special conditions. A past member whose spouse takes over the boat and they share the same email address! )
The user profile edit page silently fails if the email field is blank. So any change made to a different field does not take effect.
With a fake email address entered I can change the role.
It had nothing to do with Members.
But when multiple roles are allowed –No role on this site– is not an option.
