In reply to: [Testimonials Widget] preg_match(): Compilation failedThis appears to be a PHP version problem with a difference between PHP versions 7.3.1 (where it is broken) and 7.1.27 (where it is working)

In reply to: [Testimonials Widget] Filter by categories not working with GutenbergFurther. This (and the preg_match bug reported earlier) appears to be something to do with the version of PHP. On my live server I have PHP 7.1.27 and on my test server I have 7.3.1
It looks like something has changed with preg_match between these two versions of PHP which means this plugin no longer works properly.
OK, I’ll get to it when I next work on the website. Will be a little while though
Unfortunately not – it’s on a test server behind firewalls.

In reply to: WordPress update versions discrepancyOK, according to the techs at Plesk, they has to make a change to the DNS resolver. Don’t know what the change was, but whatever they did seems to have fixed the problem.
Thanks for all your help

In reply to: Editor changing <H tagsThe live site is 4.9.9 not using Guttenberg. The test site is at 5.1 and is using Guttenberg. When I get a little time, I’ll copy the live site onto my test server and try again

In reply to: Editor changing <H tagsOK, I’ve tried with the healthcheck plugin and everything disabled and it still does it – my test site is running wordoress 5.1 so it doesn’t seem to be a wordpress version problem
