if you replace: [your-name] <[your-email]>
with an email

it works BUT

In your inbox it comes from ‘WordPress’ (which my client doesn’t like).

SO…

I looked high and low for other Contact Form plugins and all had same problems but found this one:
Fast Secure Contact Form by By Mike Challis, Ken Carlson

and it works!

MAKE SURE: Return-path address (recommended) Field: to put in EMAIL ASSOCIATED with YOUR WEBSITE e.g.
[email protected]

Email to: field can be any email.

And when the Yahoo Com email arrives to your Inbox it will be whatever the Customer inputs in Name field (even though it’s sent from [email protected]) and when you click reply it will reply to customers email.

I had the same problem ONLY for yahoo.com emails:

I sorted it by:

Under Mail tab in Edit Contact Form settings:

Instead using [your-name] <[your-email]> in From tab,
use your email e.g. [email protected]

Also install Flamingo plugin (same author as Contact Form 7).
You will see the yahoo.com email submissions irrespective if they are sent to your email.

Doh!! I was assuming the End Date/Time of event (e.g. a play) is the last day of the play.

Expired events are still staying in sidebar for some reason and every day the dates (in red)change. Today it’s expired events: 9, 11, 12 and 15

Still can’t figure this out.

The dates (I’ve highlighted in red) change or jump to next day after completion date.

If you see events 3, 4 and 5 – the dates move forward after completion date. But the event should be completed on their dates: 5th, 6th and 7th.

I’m still having problems with events widget showing old dates. When an event completes, the widget date adds another day e.g.

If you look at widget on opening page:

This is event 3 from 1st to 5th October (as I inputed).
but dates on widget on front page show:
2nd October 2013 to 6th October 2013

and Event2
This is event 2 from 1st to 4th October (as I inputed).
but dates on widget on front page show:
3rd October 2013 to 6th October 2013

I can’t figure out why this is happening..

Hi Stephen,

In Events tab in Main Sidebar widget: I have NOT TICKED Include Past Events .

If you look at the first event on opening page titled: Event 26th to 28th.
And click More Information to go to the event – You will see text under Event Details as: This event finished on 28 September 2013.

But on opening page it’s still there and also has dates in bold grey as:
28th September 2013 to 30th September 2013.
And when I go to edit event page: it’s still marked as Start date: 26th and End date: 28th.

I have the same problem.

If you look at the first event on the opening page. When you click you’ll see ‘This event finished on 28 September 2013’ (as I inputed in Event Settings).
Also in Event Settings Tab, it even states: This event will repeat every day until September 28th 2013

But it still shows up on the widget on opening page with new date 29th September?
