I’ve tried both deactivating the plugin as well as deleting and reinstalling it. Neither solves the problem. Deleting the plugin did not remove any of my previous work. It was all still there when I reinstalled.

I just figured it out in the last couple of days. SiteGround has a plug-in called SG Optimizer that has a million switches and knobs for speeding up the site. With the help of a customer I was able to figure out that the setting for combining script files was the problem.

It looks like it was a caching problem. I was able to find one user who was willing to help me test all of those settings, and we’ve finally got him working. Now I just have to narrow down which exact caching setting it is. If you will leave this open, I will update this thread with my results.

This is not resolved. I had to find someone who could replicate the issue and then work with them to troubleshoot. Since this is caching related, it takes a long time to test. Please remove the ‘resolved’ tag.

I am obsessed with updating my plugins. I’m not sure why PayPal would throw JS errors, but I’m not having a problem with it. It’s just the Square credit card info. I am still having intermittent problems with this.
