In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] Issue Found November 16, 2023 8:43 am – Medium@wpmudevsupport14 Sorry for my delay in returning here. The file name is: broken-link-checker/broken-link-checker.php and it is line 15.
The Original Version Requires PHP: 7.4 and the Modified Version now apparently shows Requires PHP 7.2.
Hope this helps you, and Thank you for your patience with my delay in responding.
Much appreciated,

In reply to: Default editor for all users Not Available in v6.4.1Thank YOU @threadi for explaining this.
Sooo… only when making changes does the WordPress (WP) Block Editor become confused and messes everything up.
Well, what else is new; The more things change, the more they remain the same. Typical human behaviour… releasing “new” things before they’ve been perfected.
The template blocks I am using are those created by the theme developer. So, thank YOU for that tidbit too.The theme developer support staff are now aware of this issue and HOPEFULLY those layers of code that WP uses to create the new Block Editor can be made happy with their templates once adjustment are made. Sheeesh!
Gibson warned us back in Windows 3.1 days that layers and layers and layers of code like we’re using on our computers nowadays, is NOT smart coding. He was soooo right! And, Thanks too for the explaining why the option under Settings > Writing to select Block Editor as Default editor for all users, is not available to my installation of WP.
Much appreciated,

In reply to: [Simple CSS] Simple CSS plugin appears to be abandoned@boboberg Thank you for your offer.
Yes, please do post on GP Premium regarding this issue if you can. I would sincerely appreciate that. When I tried there first, their server would not allow me to put in a ticket. I could only click on suggested Q & A… which was useless for this issue.
I truly love GP Premium, so I have no intention of deserting the theme, willy-nilly… unless, of course, if they desert their support for it.
Due to the developer of YARPP trying to focus on fixing the vulnerability discovered in their plugin, thought I’d step in and try to help you with an answer to your question… hoping that neither of you mind.
@detoris You can Deactivate and Delete the YARPP plugin and then simply optimize your database with a plugin such as WP Optimize, which SHOULD be done on a regular basis anyway.
DO backup your entire website BEFORE using an optimizer plugin so that should worse come to worse you will have a means of restoring your website.Hope you find this helpful.
Regards,
TrishSadly, neither tip worked to restore the sitemap.

In reply to: [Kadence] I forgot how/where to edit image in Header area@mikehende
Seeing that you have not received help for this question, as another users, thought I’d let you know of a very helpful YouTube video where Alex will show you how, here: https://youtu.be/Czr1kR2QmDU?t=941Am still waiting for support myself, so figured I’d let you know one tidbit that I found helpful on adding the background images and overlay gradients.
Hope you find this helpful.
If you do find this helped you, then feel free to click on the Resolved option to this comment.
Thank YOU Tobias!
Check out the second message sent Tobias. Web host support had to fix the issue with password reset. Now fixed and I tested it. 2nd email has the info.
Thanks,
TrishHi Tobias,
The new temp site sent you an email yesterday, providing you with your login details. Did you receive it?
Regards,
TrishHi Tobias,
Even Generate Press experts who’ve had previous complaints of your plugin not playing nice with their theme… even he could NOT figure out why your plugins would not make make my table responsive… and he was not objective with logging in with temp access that I gave him.
WordPress developers used to always login whenever users did not object… but in today’s world… I cannot blame you.
If you’d prefer, I’ll move a copy of the entire site to a temp server where I can publish the post for you to see for yourself.
Would that make it possible for you to be able to figure this out?
Hey Tobias,
Pheeeeew, glad you won’t be deserting this plugin. So many users have stated that your plugin is THE best for building tables in WordPress.
The donation issue…
When selecting my preference to use PayPal, I was only given the option of verifying via text, meaning I’d have to click a link sent in text or use WhatsApp. PayPal always texts me numbers to type in, in order to verify. And I do NOT have access to WhatsApp.Flip phone is ONLY for emergencies… not chatting on. That would be far to expensive.
When trying to use a credit card, that option would NOT load.
With the short link…
I did try adding different corresponding parameters to the Shortcode but they all failed, and I have since removed them. One was 10|20|20|20|20 — and I did make sure to mimic the format you provided on one of your pages of instructions.
And, I’ve forgotten what the other parameters were now that I tried.
I spent far too long on that post last night, trying to resolve this issue.
This morning I decided to hold off releasing that article until December 16, in hope of resolving the table.
What I was hoping for is to have the table be fully responsive so that a user NEVER has to scroll sideways to see the information, in ALL devices.
Being an old-school designer who was taught to NEVER have a user scroll sideways… and that I learned back when using only HTML to build tables… only using CSS and forcing a table to be scrolled vertically was unacceptable.
I will GLADLY trust you with login details to my blog so you can see the post for yourself if you’d like. But I cannot provide the login details here for obvious reasons.
Please tell me how to get that information to you?
Thank YOU for responding to my cry for help. You’ve made me a happier camper ??

In reply to: [Classic Editor] Modified Classic Editor plugin fileOther developers are FORCED by WordPress to fix such an issue, except this one?
Andrew Ozz (@azaozz)’s response is as follows:
`Right. This is the standard way of “telling” the plugins repo and all the users of the plugin that it was tested and confirmed working with the latest WP version, and that it doesn’t need an update.
Since there are no changes to the code, a new version is not warranted. It would be incorrect, even a bit misleading to release new version without anything changed. Furthermore if a new version is released it would trigger the “New version available” notifications, etc. and make everybody download it. In this case that’d be 5,000,000+ downloads for literally nothing.
Sorry that WordFence and similar tools flag this, but I think there is a way to set it as false-positive. That’d be less trouble than 5m people downloading and updating for no reason`
Am disappointed with this developer.
