Difference to you steps: New file uploaded (not from library). After uploading, Plugin Optimus in case compresses the file. Anyway, after that, the MLA File Category selection should appear above the display settings, but it didn′t.
Now, with v3.13 instead of 3.12, this problem does not show up anymore.Updated WP to 6.2.2, all Post SMTP logfile entries are back. No warnings or errors in logfile.

In reply to: [Simple New Post Emails] mails sent only as text/plain@jeffpaul , glad to see a response! I guess you mean pull request with PR, right? So we′d fix it on our own and you would merge it into a fork?
Whoops, wait. Customer′s description is not clear, may be the problem is different.
Resolved. Thank you.
@bobbied , I′ll try to explain once more.
https://github.com/Strategy11/business-directory-plugin/blob/master/templates/submit-listing.tpl.php#L12-L20 shows the source of the file I′ve mentioned. And it shows that “Add Listing” and “Edit Listing” are hard coded, which means they cannot be translated the usual way. If one changes the words in the file, the changes will be overwritten the next time the plugin is being updated.
That′s the problem, is it clear now?@bobbied , the path to submit-listing.tpl.php is
/wp-content/plugins/business-directory-plugin/templates
(where all *.tpl.php files are)P.S.: I′ve mentioned by the way, that translations which are already delivered from repository are not shown in the frontend: It′s because they′re in the state “needs review”. You should take a look at this issue, too.
Yes of couse, but that doesn′t matter in this case. So here we are again:
The content for h3 in submit-listing.tpl.php row 15 an 17 is hardcoded and therefore not translateable.
If I′d overwrite these files with hard coded translation, they will be overwritten with a plugin update. May be you misunderstood.Thank you, I guess it may have come from
https://de.www.ads-software.com/plugins/honeypot/
(I didn′t thought about that self testing can provoke that reaction, but indeed there may have been aspects of the action which lead to a classification.)I use POedit and it works fine – regardless of that I see already translated strings which are not being shown in the frontend. I just edit and save them and then they show up, so for me this is not a problem, but you should check this.
Anyway, if you don′t create those strings in the mentioned file as translateable, they will not translateable and will be overwritten with the next plugin update.
Look at the place I′ve described and you will see hard coded content. Please leave this message open as it is not yet resolved.

We have disabled frontend submission and published a page with the shortcode
[businessdirectory-submit-listing]
1. Open the submission page
2. Select one category on page 1, go to page 2
3. Click on Reset (a class=”reset wpbdp-full”) at the bottomNow, the notification quoted before has changed:
View not available. Do you have the “Disable Frontend Eintrag Submission?” setting checked?
Please leave this message open as it′s of public interested.
