I have a similar question, and I also use Mailpoet. If I install your plugin, will I be able to import my current subscriber list? This is important and many potential users of your plugin will already have sub lists that they, too, will want to import rather than resend the subscription confirmation. We loose too many subscribers that way because google and yahoo and other large email handlers push our confirmation mail into the spam box.

Researcher who discovered the vulnerability recommends update to 1.3.5 at least. I checked my version, which is from WP, and it is newer than the 1.3.5 version, so check yours in the details of your plugin and you will see that you are probably updated beyond the 1.3.5.

I have the same problem and posted it here because it is the same problem, and I gut the following email from “Yui”, who apparently deleted my comment regarding having the same problem.

Many reports of 403 errors, “access Forbidden” from my subscribers. After a few days, even I was 403’d. I could not log in as admin because I was blocked by Wordfence. Looking at .htaccess, I could see that large blocks of IP addresses were blocked, and my host’s technical support said that it was Wordfence which denied access to those IP blocks. Huge ranges of IP’s, folks. like xxx.0.0.1/8

I do not have those IP addresses because I deleted them from htaccess while on the line with suppport.

Technical support deactivated Wordfence and the 403 errors went away. This was about seven hours ago. Before I replace Wordfence I would like to hear back from the developer. I have used Wordfence reliably for a long time, and naturally suspect that the latest update to the plugin has a problem.

Has MailPoet said a single word about this problem? Not a peep from them as I can see. WordPress, have you contacted MailPoet? Is anyone who has the capability doing anything about this? There is no telling how many more people are pulling their hair out trying to reolve a problem that they have no way to correct. Posted here are the few who went the host for help, and Site Ground responded quickly and accurately, as always.

Yes, MP3 took my entire site down due to excessive CPY cycles. A Major problem.

Print to PDF: yep, so your app uses Print to PDF to create the image?

You mentioned Chrome as a pdf solution, so I booted up Opera and created the pdf through it and presto! Links work fine.

Let’s try the Categories issue…perfect.

How do I remove that from the .pdf?

I continued to evaluate your plugin and found the “Settings” where I can select categories, tags, inclusions and other things. I selected a couple of categories, added a line at the bottom of each post, started each post on a new page and selected .pdf as my output format.

This seems to break the process, as the “Loading Content” spinner never stops spinning.

Too bad, because if your plugin worked properly, it would be a really nice one with meaningful functionality. You have the right ideas, but the programming is deficient.

Michael, thanks for the follow-up. I am using your app to generate a copy of all of my posts, and I wish it also included pages, preferably first. I am impressed by the stability of your app, for sure. It runs like a train.

The links in my posts are reproduced in the proper color when I create pdf;s or dotepubs, but the link does not function, nor does my cursor detect an active link on hover in the .pdf’s. Color far too light in epubs at the pre-saved stage. “Saving as” results in a 30Kb file size and no option to open in Win10.

In the dotepub runs, I noticed that the font was much larger than it should be, and bold, man. Like IMPACT ??

Adding the dotepub addon was simple, probably no reason to change that for now.

Title – program will not run if there is no site “title”, and my title is an image, so I had to add a text title to get the app to run.

Clutter at top edge: the “https://www.jerrywdavis.com/?post-type=post&order-date=asc&order…..” is at the top of every page, Can we get that removed?

Categories: Can we deselect categories that we do NOT want printed? I write some off-topic content sometime, and deselecting those categories would be a nice feature ??

epub: links work and media content (youtubes) work prior to “save as…”
epub: links are wrong color (much too light to be visible)

helena46, I backed up my site with Dropbox Backup and Restore, and so far it looks like the backup executed properly. I am interested in restoring to a staging server before restoring live, and when you reply to restore/backup questions via private email, no one else benefits from your replies. In the future, will you also post your replies in the support forum so that all might benefit? Even though “all installations are not the same”, we can learn and subsequently bug you less.
