You guys are great! I re-downloaded the files and re-uploaded. Everything works fine, WordPress installed straight away. Thank you.

Oh… but I downloaded it from this site and I unzipped it… OK, I’ll redownload.

I am still getting the same problem. I am not sure what to do now…

It seems I have all the requirements. In order to have MyPHPAdmin I have to have the same requirements for WP, so I should be fine with the requirements. I’ll try deleting all the WP files and clean up the database as you said and see what happens. Though the database contains nothing at all.

OK, I’ll look do that and look at the requirements again. I’ll check it now.
